STEP 4: Accepting An Offer

The Price Is Not Always Right

Do not be deceived by the prevalent assumption that "the higher the price, the better the offer." For numerous crucial reasons, price is not always the deciding factor when accepting an offer: the first offer is usually not final, and there are a variety of terms and conditions that might impact the final pricing conclusion. You may rely on our experts to assist you in thoroughly evaluating each proposal without jeopardizing your marketing position.

Negotiating Strategically

The ethical obligation of fairly negotiating contractual conditions is something we take very seriously. It is our responsibility to find a win-win solution that benefits all parties concerned. You may have to deal with numerous offers before deciding on the one that is most acceptable for you – and as your agents, we will ensure a thorough and objective evaluation of each offer to assist you in making the best decision possible.

A legal agreement between a potential buyer and the property's seller is known as an effective agreement. Laws differ from state to state, but in order for an agreement to be legally binding, it may need to be considered. This consideration (the initial and additional deposits) will be retained in the escrow account of the closing agent pending the satisfaction of the effective agreement's conditions and contingencies.

The Initial Agreement & Deposit

Keep written records of everything

All verbal agreements, including counter-offers and addendums, should be transcribed and converted to written agreements signed by both parties for the benefit of clarity. We'll help you create all of the necessary documentation for your sale and make sure you have copies of everything.

Stay on the timeline

You and the buyer will be provided a timeline to mark every stage of the real estate contract closing procedure now that you've picked your offer. Meeting the requirements on time allows for a smoother flow of talks and ensures that neither party is in violation of the contract. We will keep you informed throughout the process so that you are always prepared for the next step.
